Dutch cablenet Ziggo has begun selling Chromecast with Google TV to use with second or third TVs.

The set-top alternative includes the €79.95 Chromecast dongle, remote and Ziggo Go TV app. Subscribers must also have a Ziggo internet connection and TV subscription.

Up to two Chromecasts can be used in a single household.

The system works in much the same way as Ziggo’s Mediabox, allowing users to watch live TV, set reminders, add films to their watch lists, use catch-up TV and receive personal recommendations

The Liberty Global-Vodafone operator started selling the device on Monday.
