The extreme poor, for example, do not have a house at all, do not have a fixed income, and so on, there are already criteria," he added.Niken emphasized that with the latest criteria for the recipients of this free digital TV set top box, not all poor people get it, only categories with certain specifications are entitled to receive it."So, it's true that data for all poor people is given, it's not, because poor households do not have analog televisions, so they are not given, only extreme poor households that have televisions are given," he said. With the latest criteria determined for the recipients of this free set top box, those who are entitled to this assistance are as follows:This free digital TV set top box assistance will be distributed by the multiplexing (mux) organizer and the Ministry of Communication and Informatics. If you refer to initial data, there are 6.7 million units distributed throughout Indonesia, of which 5.7 million are sourced from mux organizers and 1 million from the Ministry of Communication and Information.Niken said it would be impossible if the free set top box was fully charged to the mux organizer.Meanwhile, people in the wealthy category are encouraged to buy these devices independently."There are around 40 million analog TVs, if the company asks to replace all of them, I don't think it's possible," he said.
