In mid-April, the company Media Broadcast agreed with the French company Dotscreen to extend a multi-year agreement ensuring further development, support and maintenance of the Freenet Connect portal.HbbTV service is available in DVB-T2 multiplex ZDF HD.Dotscreen is the original designer and developer of the complete HbbTV solution of the Freenet TV Connect portal, which went live in 2016, alongside the rollout of DVB-T2 in neighboring Germany.Since then, the company has continuously maintained and improved this service.The new agreement for further support of the portal covers a period of two years.Through the same service, programs such as Anixe TV, Hope TV or Motorvision.tv are available in the Czech Republic.What the Freenet Connect Portal service offersThe natural end of terrestrial digital television broadcasting in neighboring Germany can be expected in 2030.The paid terrestrial digital television Freenet TV had 902 thousand customers in neighboring Germany at the end of last year.Thanks to a free portal that requires a TV or set-top box to be connected to the Internet, terrestrial viewers in Germany can watch the archives.Cookies Personal data Terms of use English
